The GentleMACS™ Octo Dissociator is a benchtop instrument for fully automated and standardized tissue dissociation or homogenization, combining mechanical dissociation using GentleMACS tubes and/or enzymatic digestion.
Equiped with eight individual heating units and numerous optimized and ready-to-use gentleMACS Programs it offers a fully automated workflow for tissue dissociation. It can process up to 8 different samples in parallel or sequentially.
Single-cell suspensions or thorough homogenates are easily and reproducibly obtained using the unique C Tubes or M Tubes that allow sample preparation in a closed and sterile system, providing a high level of user safety and minimize cross-contamination.
